1. Leadership Conduct Raised Serious Concerns

Based on publicly visible Discord messages and content shared online, DSRP leadership displayed behaviour that raised serious concerns about professionalism and judgment.

In one widely circulated exchange, a conversation between founders escalated into inappropriate and unprofessional responses. The exchange resulted in an immediate removal of a founder, handled publicly rather than through a structured internal process.

Regardless of context, the way leadership communicated — and the fact that such conversations occurred in the first place — reflects a lack of professionalism, internal safeguards, and leadership standards.

When leadership discussions appear chaotic, reactive, or inappropriate, it directly undermines trust and stability within a community.

2. A Pattern of Deflection, Sarcasm, and Poor Accountability

Across multiple public messages and screenshots shared by members, leadership communication frequently appeared informal and dismissive during serious situations.

Common patterns included:

  • Sarcastic or joking responses during disputes

  • Laughing reactions to serious concerns

  • Personal remarks rather than structured moderation

  • Founders dismissing criticism rather than addressing it

  • Members leaving conversations mid-discussion

This style of communication resembled a private group chat rather than a professional staff environment. Over time, this tone appeared to shape the server’s public image and player confidence.

When leadership treats serious issues casually, it signals that accountability is not a priority.

3. Community and Former Staff Criticism

Multiple members publicly described the server as poorly run or unstable. In some cases, individuals who previously held staff roles openly criticised the server’s structure and leadership.

What raised further concern was the apparent lack of consistent standards: individuals who had publicly criticised the server were later reinstated into staff positions.

This cycle suggested:

  • No clear staff vetting process

  • No consistent expectations

  • No long-term accountability

When staff criticism has no consequences — or is followed by reinstatement — it signals organisational instability and weak leadership controls.

FRP and Roleplay Breakdown

From publicly shared clips, community discussions, and player feedback, DSRP was frequently associated with severe Fail RP behaviour.

Reported issues included:

  • Players fleeing police without justification

  • Injuries being ignored or immediately reset

  • Unrealistic reactions to major incidents

  • Random vehicle ramming and combat

  • Scenes collapsing shortly after starting

  • Little to no visible enforcement

This behaviour was not described as occasional — it was reported as persistent. Without consistent enforcement, FRP became normalised, making meaningful roleplay difficult or impossible.

Strong roleplay cannot exist without structure, enforcement, and leadership support.

Why the Documentary Investigation Was Stopped

As part of our original documentary-style project, NorthNetwork began reviewing publicly available material and listening to accounts shared by individuals identifying as current or former members and staff.

As this process continued, the information being shared with us escalated beyond structural concerns and into areas that were too serious, sensitive, and conflicting to responsibly investigate or present.

At that point, continuing the investigation would have required:

  • Handling unverified claims beyond our authority

  • Risking amplification of speculation or allegations

  • Engaging with matters better handled by appropriate platforms or authorities

For these reasons, NorthNetwork made the decision to stop all investigative work related to the documentary and disengage from further inquiry.

This decision was made to protect our community, avoid unnecessary escalation, and maintain responsible boundaries.

Final Thoughts

Based on publicly visible material and widespread community reaction, Diamond State RP became an example of how internal instability, poor leadership communication, and lack of accountability can damage a roleplay community.

Patterns observed included:

  • Unprofessional leadership behaviour

  • Inconsistent staff standards

  • Public internal conflict

  • Repeated criticism from members and former staff

  • Persistent FRP without meaningful consequences

NorthNetwork was built specifically to avoid these issues by prioritising structure, accountability, and long-term roleplay quality.
