Economy Update

We’ve rolled out a brand-new economy update to improve how money flows through NorthNetwork and to reward members more fairly for the time and effort they put into the roleplays. Whether you’re on duty as LEO, EMS, Fire, or running a civilian business in Sandy Shores, there’s now more structure and opportunity to earn.

🏁 New Starter Money

Members who joined before May 2025 will receive $17,500
New members joining after May 2025 will start with $17,000

This gives everyone a solid foundation to buy essentials and get started right away.

💼 Job Payouts

👮 Police, EMS, and Fire Department

You will earn $500 per roleplay session if you attend for more than 30 minutes
Payment is issued automatically based on presence and time spent

🏪 Civilian Business Owners

Business owners can now earn up to $1,250 per roleplay
Income depends on:
- How active the business was
- How long the building was used in RP
- How much you pay your staff
This system rewards realistic management and engagement

🔫 Weapons Update – Gun Access and Pricing

With civilian ranks removed, all members can now purchase firearms. Here’s the official pricing and details:

Pistols

Unregistered: $750 – $1,000
Registered: $1,500 – $2,000
Monthly Ammo Cost: $750

Shotguns

Unregistered: $2,500 – $3,500
Registered: $4,500 – $6,000
Monthly Ammo Cost: $1,200

SMGs

Unregistered: $4,000 – $5,500
Registered: $6,000 – $8,500
Monthly Ammo Cost: $1,600

Assault Rifles

Unregistered: $7,000 – $10,000
Registered: $11,000 – $15,000
Monthly Ammo Cost: $2,000

Illegal / Rare Weapons

Unregistered Only: $15,000 – $25,000+
Monthly Ammo Cost: $2,400

📌 Weapon Rules

Registered weapons are legal to carry and will not be confiscated unless used in a crime
Unregistered weapons are cheaper but can be seized by police and may result in charges
Ammo requires a monthly payment based on weapon class
